Megamind was only an infant when his parents loaded him into an emergency escape pod and jettisoned him into space just as their planet was being sucked into a black hole. PLOT: A gang of neo-fascist thugs, led by the self-proclaimed ‘Night Slasher’, are breaking into people’s homes & cars, then killing them at random. When of of these thugs holds up a food store & takes hostages, Lt. Marian Cobretti – an intense, take-no-prisoners cop, is brought onto the scene to end the hostage-taking. Ranting bizarrely about a ‘New World’, the man levels a sawed-off shotgun at Cobretti, who hits him with a knife, then guns him down when the man refuses to put down his weapon. Later that night, another murder occurs, attributed to the Night Slasher – and the next day, another one. This one is witnessed by a young woman, Ingrid Knutsen. She drives away before the thugs can kill her, but it isn’t long before some creepy-looking people start making attempts on her life – and Cobretti’s. Cobretti plans to move the only witness to the blood spree upstate, but with inside information, the thugs follow them. And a battle for survival rages between Cobretti and the thugs…

“Demolition Man” is a 1993 American dystopian, science fiction action film directed by Marco Brambilla, and starring Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes. The film is a story about two men, one an evil crime lord and the other a risk-taking police officer, who are cryogenically frozen in the year 1996 and reawakened to face each other in 2032. Los Angeles, now called San Angeles following an earthquake that destroyed most of contemporary Los Angeles and San Diego, has become part of a planned city where violence is eliminated from mainstream society. A couple of weeks ago group KaKa released the 720p BluRay version of the film. Size is 1.5 DVD-5.
PLOT: Frozen in 1996, Phoenix, a convicted killer is “thawed” out for parole well into the 21st century. Revived into a crime free society, Phoenix resumes his murderous rampage, and no one can stop him. Spartan, the cop who captured Phoenix in 1996 has also been cryogenically frozen, this time for a crime he didn’t commit. In desperation they turn to Spartan to help recapture Phoenix.
